Kwania School Director Held After Alleged Confrontation With Parent

Police in Kwania District have investigated and arrested the director of a private school following an alleged confrontation with a parent who had gone to collect his children.

The incident involved Obia Memorial Nursery and Primary School in Kwania, where the parent reportedly went to pick up his two children after the school holiday began.

According to the account given to police, the parent alleged that he was assaulted after declining to pay money being demanded for holiday lessons.

Police confirmed that the school director was taken into custody at Kwania Central Police Station as investigations into the incident commenced.

The director was subsequently released on police bond as inquiries continued.
